As a highly trained and skilled Board Certified Wound Care RN specializing in clinically complex Wound Care as well as Infection Prevention & Control with thirteen years of experience providing quality, evidence-based patient care within dynamic and high-pressure environments requiring independent decision-making as well as team collaboration, I offer excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.

Complimenting a significant history of management and staff development experience, my experiences as a travel nurse prove my ability to quickly learn, adapt and become a reliant, cohesive, productive team member, efficiently and effectively, in new settings.  I am a dependable, dedicated, prepared and timely professional RN.

After many years of providing care to one of the most vulnerable and at-risk patient populations, those with acute and chronic wounds, the layers and layers of challenges associated with providing wound care for a clinically complex patient require a myriad of needs ranging from social to psychiatric to physiological, and the intense desire to give these patients the best healing care possible to reach their optimal quality of life, borne my wish for all healthcare facilities to have a high quality, effective wound care program- which gave lead to the formation of Activewound Care Solutions, LLC.

Realizing that so many healthcare facilities are unaware of the benefits of a strong wound care program or in desperate need for RN staffing for these programs, and also realizing that these facilities are not even aware they can contract such support through locum tenens contract services, I created Activewound Care Solutions to temporarily fill your current demand for Certified Wound Care professionals while immersing your frontline nursing staff in education regarding prevention, treatment and the importance of quality measures and compliance.

It is my vision to promote the importance of holistic treatment of the patient at risk for or with active wounds and to provide the most passionate, professional care by offering Certified Wound Care Consultants to all healthcare facilities in need of superior staffing support and education.
